Private Parties at Derek's
Derek's evolved out of Dickenson West Fine Catering. A tasting room that grew! Now we have a fully fledged restaurant offering excellent contemporary Californian cuisine.
As Derek's has grown we have created an intimate setting, hidden off the beaten track and perfect for those special occasions.
Whether you are interested in a small private dinner for 6 or a private party for 40 we have a room to suit your needs.

During our opening hours - Tuesday through Saturday from 5.30pm - we offer four private dinning areas... choose the room that is right for you…
Small Private Dining Room - Perfect for 6, accommodates up to 8
An intimate room, private on all sides except for a long glass window that overlooks the bar.
Medium Private Dining Room - Perfect for 10, accommodates up to 14
A fun room where you still feel part of the restaurant. Glass walls on three sides give you privacy whilst maintaining that restaurant feeling. Local artist, Mark Venalia, sunflower painting gives this room a great feel. For those important business meetings a screen is available to be draw to create a more private experience.
Main Room - Perfect for 20, accommodates up to 40
Lined by our impressive wine cellar, purpose built in bar available if required this room is great for the larger events.
Patio Dining - Perfect for 15, accommodates up to 24
Californian cool - enjoy dining outdoors in our covered patio, surrounded by bougoanvillia, hanging lanterns & candle light.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are essential to secure a private room. To make a reservation in any of our private dining rooms call us at 626-799-5252 and speak with Caroline, our restaurant manager.
Each room has a guest minimum to reserve the space.
